Impairment suspected in injury crash that damaged Houston home 

HOUSTON, TX – Harris County Constable Precinct 1 believes impairment may have been a factor behind a crash that damaged a Houston home and injured a teenager.

The incident happened in the area of Harper Forest Drive and West Mount Houston Road on Monday, Fox26Houston said. It was there that a driver crashed his vehicle into a portion of a Houston home bedroom.

The vehicle made contact with a 15-year-old girl, who was sitting in her room when the collision occurred.

The teenager and male driver were both hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

While impairment is suspected as a factor, law enforcement said charges have not been filed at this time as an investigation continues.
