Jack-knifed semi and vehicle collide on US 290
AUSTIN, TX- An 18-wheeler crashed into a car and jack-knifed Friday afternoon on US 290, causing one hospitalization, according to KXAN.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:00pm, trapping the vehicle underneath the car. Officials arrived to the scene of the incident to help extinguish a vehicle fire, clean a fuel spill, and clear the crash site. One person was reported to be hospitalized after the crash, even though no injuries were reported initially.
