Jaguar driver fatally collides head-on with semi-truck on FM 2100 Rd
CROSBY, TX – A woman driving a Jaguar X8 died after she collided head-on with a semi-truck on the 27000 block of FM 2100 Rd on Jan. 20, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Michaela Holland Burk was driving a Jaguar X8 north on FM 2100 Rd when she strayed into oncoming traffic and slammed head-on into a semi-truck operated by Joseph Franklin around 6:25 p.m.
First responders pronounced Burk dead at the scene. They transported Franklin to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities do not believe Franklin was impaired.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
