Jeep rear-ends disabled Nissan on I-10 at Wayside, killing 1
HOUSTON, TX – One person died early Sunday in a two-vehicle collision along the interstate in northeast Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.
The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of I-10 and Wayside Drive in the Denver Harbor/Port Houston area.
Police say that the driver of a Jeep was likely speeding when they rear-ended a disabled Nissan along the interstate.
The driver of the Nissan succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name to the public.
The driver of the Jeep stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
Motorists likely encountered delays in the area of I-10 and Wayside while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
