Leander police release info on crash that killed 1, injured 4
LEANDER, TX – Today, police have released new information in a fatal injury crash that occurred on May 21st on East San Gabriel Parkway, KXAN reports.
A Dodge pickup truck travelling north on 183A Toll Frontage road was struck by a Ford Explorer at 12:11 am, according to Leander police.
The Dodge when then struck by the Explorer at the intersection of 183A and East San Gabriel after the Explorer ran a red light.
Responders declared on passenger in the Ford dead at the scene. Two other occupants in both the Ford and the Dodge were hospitalized at Round Rock St. David’s Medical Center. Their injuries were reported to be non life-threatening.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
