Left-turning car fatally strikes motorcyclist in Channelview 

CHANNELVIEW, TX – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed as the result of a T-bone collision involving an SUV in Channelview on Sunday.

The crash occurred at 12:45 p.m. on the 1700th block of Dell Dale Street, according to Fox26Houston. Preliminary details show that a driver of a Mercedes-Benz car was turning left onto Hidden Park Drive from northbound Dell when they collided with a southbound motorcycle, also traveling on Dell.

The motorcyclist went airborne and succumbed to their injuries before 1 p.m.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the Mercedes driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

Authorities have not released the motorcyclist’s name.

The cause of the T-bone collision is under investigation.
