Man, 40, dead after crashing car into light pole on Houston’s Gulf Freeway
HOUSTON, TX – A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 40-year-old man near the Lone Star Flight Museum Sunday.
The collision occurred before 11:30 pm at the 13800 block of Gulf Freeway, a press release from Houston Police revealed. The man was operating a silver Honda Accord at a high rate. As a result, he lost control of his car and hit a raised median and a light pole.
The man, whose name was unreleased, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
