Man claimed in ejection crash on Melville Dr in Crosby
CROSBY, TX – Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision that killed a driver Monday night in northeast Harris County, reports Click 2 Houston.
The accident occurred shortly before midnight on East Melville Drive just east of Joan of Arc Street in the city of Crosby, which is approximately 25 miles northeast of Houston.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a ditch. The impact of the collision ejected the driver, killing him at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
There were no other passengers in the truck at the time of the wreck.
The investigation is ongoing.
