Man dead after being hit by pickup in early-morning crash on Manchaca Rd
AUSTIN, TX – A man was struck and killed by the driver of a pickup truck on Manchaca Road early this morning, according to information from KXAN News.
The collision occurred in the 4500 block of Manchaca Rd near Ben White Boulevard at around 2:15 a.m., after a pedestrian was struck by the driver of a pickup truck.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the site of the crash after the accident.
