Man fatally struck in hit-and-run on Almeda Genoa Rd
HOUSTON, TX – Police are investigating an apparent hit-and-run collision that left a man dead in southwest Houston Friday morning.
According to Click 2 Houston, the accident happened around 3 a.m. on Almeda Genoa Road between Regal Oaks Bend Lane and Almeda School Road. This is southwest of Houston City College – Southwest Campus.
Authorities say they found a male pedestrian deceased in the roadway. His name has not yet been released to the public.
Preliminary evidence suggests the victim was likely struck by a vehicle, possibly during an earlier crash that occurred in the area.
