Man killed after being run over by vehicle in Houston’s Greater Inwood
HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after he was said to have been run over by a vehicle on Thursday morning, ABC13 said.
The incident happened around 7:45 a.m. on Antoine Drive and Sheraton Oaks. A man was working underneath a black SUV when he was struck by a woman in the driver’s seat of that vehicle.
The man was pinned underneath the vehicle, and the female driver immediately drove away at a high rate of speed.
The man was dragged for two blocks before he rolled out from under the vehicle, and ultimately died from his injuries.
According to an eyewitness, the female suspect had ditched the car she drove in and was then picked up by another vehicle.
Police found the suspect and detained her.
Police have not released the male victim’s or the suspect’s name or said what charges she would face.
