Man on scooter dead fatally struck by car in central Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A man riding a scooter was killed when he was struck by a driver in central Austin early this morning.
According to KXAN, the collision happened at 2:51 a.m. near the intersection of Newfield Lane and Enfield Road as a man in his 30s riding a scooter was struck by a driver.
Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified victim died at the scene of the crash.
The driver remained at the scene and was not hurt in the accident. It is unclear if they will face any charges at this time.
