METRORail train passenger hurt in crash with Houston fire engine truck 

HOUSTON, TX – A passenger on board a METRORail train was injured following a crash involving a Houston Fire Department fire engine truck on Friday.

The incident happened before 7 p.m. at Houston and North Main Streets, Click2Houston reveals. Preliminary details show fire engine 9 had activated lights and sirens when they collided with the train at Hogan and North Main Streets, according to Click2Houston.

The train passenger was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Houston police are working to determine the cause of the crash.
