Minor injuries reported in semi-truck crash in Katy
KATY, TX – Two people sustained minor injuries in a semi-truck crash that took place on the Katy Freeway along State Highway 99 on Thursday.
According to Click2Houston, the crash took place around 11 a.m. The events leading to the collision are unclear, although the Lieutenant for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Terry Garza, said in an X post that the impact of the crash caused the truck to fall off the freeway.

The two injured individuals were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities closed all eastbound lanes on the freeway for several hours to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process.
No citations or arrests have been reported.
