Mom killed in front of her family on Rankin Rd
HARRIS COUNTY, TX- Elia Orlando died after being struck by a Porsche on Rankin Rd on Dec 9th, ABC13 reports.
At 11:45p.m. Elia was hit by a Porsche in front of her family at 530 Rankin Road . Elia had walked onto the roadway, screaming at another vehicle that had sped past her, her husband, and their two children.
When the Porsche approached, the husband, Anthony Orlando, was able to get the children out of the vehicle’s way. He was unable to get his wife out of the way, and she was hit.
Elia died after being hospitalized. Anthony suffered arm injuries, which was struck by the passenger side mirror.
The driver contacted first responders. She also initiated CPR on the victim.
No charges were held against the driver.
