Motorcycle collision on US-290 near W 34th claims 1
HOUSTON, TX – A fatality and multiple injuries have been reported in connection to an early morning collision that happened Monday in northwest Houston.
According to Click 2 Houston, teams were called to a major crash just after 3 a.m. on U.S. 290 near West 34th Street. This is west of Wortham Island Reserve and north of Mitchelldalle Business Park.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the accident, which they say involved at least two people and a Honda motorcycle.
Despite the efforts of first responders, one person died at the scene. That person may have been a passenger on the motorcycle.
Medics transported the motorcycle operator to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
A full investigation is underway.
