Motorcycle vs. car crash claims 39-year-old man’s life on East Little York Road in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed shortly after he collided with a car at the 700 block of East Little York Road Saturday.

The collision occurred before 1 p.m, Houston Police reported. A driver of a silver Chevrolet Equinox was hit by a blue  Yamaha motorcycle after the motorcyclist was in the process of turning left onto a private driveway.

Houston Police speculated that speeding could have been a contributing factor in Saturday’s crash. In addition, alcohol and impairment did not play a role in the accident.

The driver of the Chevrolet Equinox, a 26-year-old woman, did not appear to be injured.

The motorcyclist, a 39-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
