Motorcycle vs SUV crash in Houston’s Sharpstown area claims 1 life
HOUSTON, TX — One person lost their life Tuesday morning after a motorcycle crash on the Southwest Freeway in Houston’s Sharpstown area, reports ABC13.
Houston Police said the fatal accident unfolded at Fondren Road at around 8:45 a.m., leaving three northbound lanes blocked.
An early investigation by the HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division shows a motorcycle and a Jeep Cherokee were involved, and that one victim received life-saving measures from a citizen.
Authorities later confirmed that one person was pronounced deceased, but did not say whether the victim was the motorcyclist.
No charges have been reported and no further information has been released as of this writing.
