Motorcyclist crashes, plummets to his death off North Freeway in East Downtown

HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a motorcyclist crashed and fell to his death from the North Freeway onto Pierce Street early Thursday morning.

The motorcyclist was heading north on the North Freeway when they lost control of the bike, crashed, and were ejected off the North Freeway onto Pierce Street below around 1:50 a.m.

First responders pronounced the victim, who appears to be in their 20s, dead at the scene.

The Houston Police Department’s crash team is investigating the incident.
