Motorcyclist dies following wreck on I-69 Eastex Fwy in Houston
HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle collision on the I-69 Eastex NB Fwy on Saturday, according to Click 2 Houston.
A 59-year-old man was riding a motorcycle north on I-69 when the motorcyclist strayed out of his lane and collided with a jeep around 11:43 a.m. The man was ejected from the bike.
Rescue crews performed life-saving measures on the motorcyclist and transported him to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the jeep driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the incident.
