Motorcyclist dies in 3-vehicle crash in West Chase
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a motorcyclist died in a collision involving two other vehicles on Westheimer Road near Sam Houston Tollway Monday night.
The driver of a Toyota was exiting a shopping center when she tried to cross the westbound lanes and hit a westbound motorcyclist around 11 p.m.
The collision sent the motorcyclist into oncoming traffic, where they collided head-on with an eastbound Honda driver. The motorcyclist died in the crash.
First responders checked out the Honda driver for injuries, but he decided to take himself to the hospital rather than go via ambulance.
The Toyota driver was not hurt in the collision. She remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
