Motorcyclist fatally collides with 2 vehicles on Gears Road
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, a motorcyclist died following a fatal multi-vehicle collision on Gears Road Saturday night.
Rondarias Williams, 28, was riding a green Kawasaki dirt bike east on the 1400 block of Gears Road at around 9:40 p.m. when he ran the red light and crashed into a westbound Ford F150 at the intersection that was turning left onto Greens Parkway.
Williams was thrown from the bike and hit a gray Acura RDX.
First responders pronounced Williams dead at the scene.
Following the accident, the drivers of the Ford and Acura stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities determined the drivers were not impaired.
The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
