Motorcyclist fatally collides with pole near Independence Heights

HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a motorcyclist died after they hit a pole on Interstate 45 northbound near Crosstimbers Street Thursday evening.

The motorcyclist slammed into the pole around 5 p.m.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Houston METRO Police Department is investigating the incident because it happened in the HOV lane.
