Multi-vehicle wreck blocks lane, ramp on I-45 SB in Spring
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — As many as four vehicles were involved in a crash late Friday morning on Interstate Highway 45 North in Spring, according to Houston Transtar.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes of IH-45 (North Freeway), north of Exit 70B to Texas State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway), in the city’s Northgate Crossing area. It was verified by officials at 11:33 a.m.
Little information has been provided, but the wreck had the right shoulder, right lane, and the exit ramp blocked in the immediate aftermath.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., nearly two hours later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
Local agencies have not confirmed any injuries and/or hospital transports at this time.
