Nine injured, including 6 children, in FM 812 accident

DALE, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY)– Nine people, including six children, were injured in an accident yesterday southeast of Austin, on Farm to Market Road 812, according to the official Twitter account of Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. at the 13900 block of FM 812. Currently, the circumstances of the crash and the identities of the victims are unknown.

A teenager was airlifted to Dell Children’s Medical Center with injuries that were serious, although not expected to be life-threatening. One child was transported to the same hospital with potentially serious injuries.

The remaining patients, except for one who refused treatment, were taken to various local hospitals for the treatment of minor injuries.
