Officer, 2 others hurt in multi-vehicle accident in on US 290 in Houston
HOUSTON, TX – According to ABC 13, a Houston police officer and two other people were hurt in a three-vehicle collision on US 290 in northwest Houston Friday morning.
An officer was performing a traffic stop on a semi-truck on US 290 outbound near Hollister Road when another driver hit the officer’s patrol vehicle.
First responders transported the officer and two others to area hospitals. Their current condition is unknown.
Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area has since reopened.
