Officials provided more info on Cleveland ISD school bus crash on FM 1010

CLEVELAND, TX – According to ABC 13, officials have released additional details on the Cleveland ISD school bus crash on FM 1010 on August 13.

A 21-year-old man drove the bus. He told authorities he was distracted when he went off the road and hit an embankment. The bus traveled 240 feet and came to rest on its side.

First responders transported 52 of the 57 students on the bus to an area hospital. The other five were released to their families.

It is unclear if anyone suffered serious injuries in the accident.
