Officials shut down SH 99 West following big rig crash in Tomball 

TOMBALL, TX – Officials had to close State Highway 99 West near Cypress Rosehill following a big rig crash on Monday.

Authorities told Click2Houston that it was a single-vehicle concrete truck crash and warranted a response from LifeFlight.

It’s unclear if the truck driver/occupants were injured or taken to the hospital. Nonetheless, delays could be seen as crews worked to clean up debris from the crash and restore safe road conditions.

During the closures, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
