One injured in crash on Research Boulevard median crash
AUSTIN, TX- One victim was injured early Friday after hitting a median and falling near northbound Research Boulevard, according to CBS Austin.
At approximately 2:49am, a driver in a Toyota 4-Runner slammed into a median, causing the driver to somehow fall 30 feet to the roadway below. The vehicle stayed up by the median. Officials arrived to the scene of the crash and transported the victim to an area hospital with serious injuries. Officials are uncertain to how the vehicle stayed above while the driver fell to the roadway beneath the scene of the accident.
