One killed in hit-and-run pedestrian collision on South Loop West
HOUSTON, TX- One person was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on South Loop West early Thursday, according to Houston Police Department reports.
At approximately 1:30am, a vehicle struck a pedestrian at the 3800 area of South Loop West (I-610) and promptly fled from the scene of the incident. Officials arrived to the scene shortly after and pronounced the victim deceased. No other details regarding the incident are known. Officials are still investigating the identity of the driver.
