One killed in two-vehicle collision in Jones Road intersection
HOUSTON, TX- One person was killed and others injured after a two-vehicle collision in a Jones Road intersection on Tuesday, according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office reporting.
At approximately 9:25am, two vehicles crashed in an intersection near the 11400 area of Jones Road, near Tower Oaks Boulevard. One vehicle entered the intersection on a green light to turn left, and another vehicle traveling straight drove through a red light and struck the driver’s side of the first vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle were transported to an area hospital for treatment, but the driver was pronounced dead shortly after.
