One person killed in late-night pedestrian crash on Lamar Blvd
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed in a pedestrian crash on Lamar Boulevard late last night, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 11800 block of N Lamar Blvd near Caddo Street at 10:58 p.m., when a driver crashed into a pedestrian victim.
Despite extensive CPR by medical personnel, one adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed all of Lamar Blvd as they investigated.
Drivers were told to expect extended traffic delays in the area as police continued to work the scene.
