One vehicle collision with tree on US 183 killed one
LOCKHART, TX- A collision involving one vehicle and a tree on the southbound US 183 killed one victim early Saturday, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical officials.
The collision occurred at approximately 5:59am near the area of 10511 South US 183. Officials reported one vehicle collided with a tree offroad, causing the vehicle to catch on fire, trapping the victim inside. The single victim was declared dead at the scene of the crash shortly after.
