Pearland mini-bike crash near Lynn, Cherry claims teen boy
PEARLAND, TX – A teen boy sustained fatal injuries Saturday in a mini-bike crash in northeast Brazoria County, reports abc 13.
The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on Lynn Drive near the intersection with Cherry Street in Pearland, which is around 21 miles southeast of Houston.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident. They say that a gas-powered mini-bike collided with a passenger vehicle near the intersection.
The driver of the car, who has not yet been identified by police, stopped at render aid and speak with authorities.
The 13-year-old operator of the mini-bike succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
