Pedestrian accident killed one on Congress Avenue
AUSTIN, TX- One person was pronounced dead at the scene of a pedestrian crash on Congress Avenue Tuesday night, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
The incident was reported at approximately 8:01pm near the 5900 block of South Congress Avenue. Officials arrived to the scene of the accident and performed CPR on the injured individual. However, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly after.
