Pedestrian critically injured in crash with train near West William Cannon Drive
AUSTIN, TX- One pedestrian was severely injured in a collision with a train near West William Cannon Drive on Wednesday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
At approximately 12:08pm, officials reported and responded to the scene of a pedestrian and train collision where the victim had to be extricated from the crash scene. The victim was awake, but critically injured. They were subsequently extricated by EMS officials and transported to St. David’s South Austin.
