Pedestrian dead after being hit by driver in early-morning crash on I-35
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed after being hit by a driver on I-35 early Saturday morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision happened in the 6100 block of S I-35 southbound near E Stassney Lane at 4:49 a.m., when a pedestrian victim was struck by a driver.
The victim, who was not immediately identified by the authorities, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drivers were told to expect traffic delays in the area and to watch for investigators working the scene.
