Pedestrian dies after being struck by driver on Telephone Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian died on July 21 from injuries sustained in a collision at 6700 Telephone Road on March 7, according to the Houston Police Department.

A male was driving a white Honda Accord north on Telephone Road when he struck Daniel Montoya, 57, around 9 p.m.

First responders transported Montoya to an area hospital, where he died on July 21.

It is unclear if the driver will face charges concerning the collision.
