Pedestrian dies after getting hit by train in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died after a CapMetro train collided with them around 2:40 pm Wednesday, KXAN said.
The collision happened at the 9000 Research Boulevard area. Further details about Wednesday’s crash are unavailable at this time. However, the detail that is known is that the pedestrian was allegedly in the way of the train, according to a press release from CapMetro. The person died at the scene.
The Austin Police Department is investigating the fatal accident.
