Pedestrian fatally struck by car on Gulf Freeway in Houston 

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian died after getting struck by a car on the 3400th block of Gulf Freeway on Monday, KTEN reports.

Houston Police said the crash happened before 9:45 p.m. Police determined that the driver of a silver Nissan Sedan was trying to exit at Scott Street when they struck a pedestrian trying to cross the road.

Police said the male pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene. His name will be released once his family is notified.

Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. They questioned the driver and released them.
