Pedestrian hit by SUV, hospitalized in critical condition

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was hit by an SUV on Friday night in southeast Austin and has been transported to the hospital, according to KXAN and the official  Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter feed.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the crossing of East Riverside Drive and South Pleasant Valley Road.

The patient was left unconscious and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. No further information is available at this time.
