Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by, pinned beneath vehicle on Mesa Dr
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck and pinned beneath a vehicle on Mesa Drive this morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Mesa Drive and Greystone Drive at 11:23 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a driver and was then pinned beneath the vehicle.
After being extricated, the adult victim was declared a trauma alert. The pedestrian was then taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of possibly serious injuries.
Drivers in the area were told to expect traffic delays and possible closures near the scene.
