Pedestrian killed in crash on I-35 near 290
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was hit and killed on I-35 near US 290 on Friday night, KVUE reports.
The fatal collision took place in the interstate’s northbound lanes sometime that evening. Traffic was rerouted to Exit 238A while Austin police investigated.
The driver of the vehicle which hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Little else is known at this time.
