Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on I-45 in Harris County early Tuesday morning

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian died in an early Tuesday hit-and-run on Interstate 45 near Cypress Oaks Drive in Harris County, reports FOX 26 Houston.

Harris County deputies received reports of the deadly crash at about 3 a.m.

Responders found a man lying in the southbound lanes of the freeway. They believe that an initial impact threw him into another travel lane, where he was hit by a second vehicle. None of the motorists stopped to help, authorities say.

Emergency medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. He has been identified as Kevon Clark.
