Person critically injured after crashing into pillar on Research Blvd
AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries following a collision on Research Boulevard this evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

Reports suggest the driver crashed into a pillar at about 4:25 p.m. at 8868 Research Boulevard, near Metric Boulevard. One person was entrapped within the wreckage as a result.
After being extricated by emergency crews, the victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Dell Seton to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening injuries.
