Person killed in early-morning pedestrian crash on Research Blvd
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed in a pedestrian crash on Research Boulevard early this morning, according to information released by Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened between 7800-8244 Research Blvd southbound, near Lamar Boulevard, at 1:53 a.m., when a driver collided with a pedestrian.
One victim, who was identified only as an adult, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Drivers were told to expect extended traffic delays and closures near the crash site.
