Person on motorized bike dies from hit-and-run on S. Shepard Dr.
HOUSTON, TX- The driver of the bike was hit by an unknown car and killed at 1500 South Shepherd Drive around 4:30p.m. on Jan. 26th, the Houston Police Department reports.
The person had been traveling south when he was struck. The impact from the car caused the man to lose control and end up on the sidewalk but the driver of the vehicle did not stop to help.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the at-fault driver fled the site of the accident before authorities arrived.
