Person severely injured in early-morning pin-in crash on Capital of Texas Hwy
AUSTIN, TX – One person was severely injured in a pin-in collision on the Capital of Texas Highway early this morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 6800 block of N Capital of Texas Hwy southbound at 12:45 a.m., when a single vehicle crashed and overturned about 20 feet off the road.
One person was pinned within the wreckage and declared a trauma alert. After being rescued by emergency crews, they were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.
Drivers were told to expect continued traffic delays near the scene and to watch for investigators.
