Pickup and semi collide on TX-321 near Cleveland, injuring 1
LIBERTY CO., TX – One person sustained injuries this week in two-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler in northwest Liberty County, reports MyTexasDaily.
The accident occurred Tuesday or Wednesday on TX-321 near County Road 2243 near Ainsworth and Cleveland. This is about 50 miles northeast of Houston.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the crash, which they say caused the driver of the pickup truck to become entrapped in their vehicle.
After crews performed appropriate extrication measures, medics attended to the driver of the pickup truck at the scene. It’s unclear if the victim required hospitalization for their injuries.
Photos taken at the scene indicate that both the semi and the pickup truck sustained substantial damage in the collision.
