Police investigate deadly crash on TX 225
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal collision on 10000 TX 225 on Saturday.
Angel Eduardo Villanueva, 23, was driving a black Jeep Cherokee east on TX 225 when he stopped in a moving lane around 3 a.m.
The driver of a Honda Accord then rear-ended the Jeep, sending it into a concrete barrier.
First responders pronounced the Accord driver dead at the scene and transported Villanueva to an area hospital in stable condition.
Authorities determined Villanueva was impaired and charged him with DWI.
Officials have not released the Accord driver’s name.
The HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
